Alma Holmberg  

 

 

My grandmother (mother's mother) Alma Margareta Holmberg was born on Dec. 11, 1879, in Åbacken, Långsele parish in the district of Ångermanland in the northern part of Sweden. Her ancestors can be found through the person index. You can also find family names to look up and places where she and her ancestors lived.

Her mother, Sara Greta Andersdotter, was born on April 26, 1850, in the village Västergransjö, Helgum parish in the district of Ångermanland. Sara Greta lived in Valviken (at a brewery the family had) after her husband's, Jonas Gabriel Holmberg's, death in 1909, until approx. 1912-13. At that time she moved to her son Gottfrid and his wife Amanda and lived there until her death in 1923.
